Quick answer: Event marketing means using events to bring a brand face to face with its customers. Instead of theory, this article walks through three events Now Agency has supported: the EZVIZ experience booth at the VIBE 2026 exhibition, a direct tour of the production line at the Prime factory for Prime Iconic Design Contest 2026 contestants, and Panasonic's distributor appreciation dinner — each with its own goal and its own approach.
Updated: October 2026.
Three events, three different goals
| Brand | Event type | Goal | Highlights |
|---|---|---|---|
| EZVIZ | Exhibition booth | Let visitors try the products themselves | Reviewers, KOCs, interviews, mini-games, livestream |
| Prime | Direct tour of the factory production line | Help contestants understand the real product before designing | Walking the line, a talk, showroom visit, Q&A |
| Panasonic | Distributor appreciation dinner | Honor a partner and strengthen the relationship | Intimate setting, trophy presentation ceremony |
EZVIZ at VIBE 2026: letting visitors unlock the door themselves
At the VIBE 2026 exhibition (September 30–October 3, 2026, SECC Ho Chi Minh City), the EZVIZ booth was organized the way a household uses the devices, with a full home entrance built so visitors could try smart locks, doorbells and cameras in context. Now connected tech reviewers and KOCs with the experience, supported on-booth interviews and captured all four days.

Prime: taking contestants right to the factory production line
For the Prime Iconic Design Contest 2026, the central event marketing activity was a direct tour of the production line at the Prime factory on April 11, 2026. More than a hundred lecturers and students from the University of Industrial Fine Arts put on safety helmets and walked the line to see for themselves how a tile is made, attended a talk on bringing artistic thinking into tile production, visited the showroom and put questions directly to the factory team.
Result: 111 people joined the tour — 103 students and 8 lecturers. Lesson: nothing persuades like showing the audience the product being made in front of them; a factory tour answers questions that documents cannot. See the Prime project in detail.
Panasonic and Ngoc Hoi: a small event with a big ceremony
On June 9, 2026, Panasonic held a dinner celebrating 5 years of cooperation with its distributor Ngoc Hoi. Rather than a large conference, it was an intimate dinner with one consistent key visual, remarks from leadership and a ceremony presenting a letter of appreciation and trophy to the partner.
Lesson: at an appreciation event, the recognition ceremony is the centerpiece and every detail is seen up close. See the Panasonic event in detail.
The 7-step process Now applies to an event
- Goal: what the event is for and how it will be measured.
- Guests: who needs to be there and how to invite them.
- Concept and key visual carried from the invitation to the stage.
- Venue matched to the goal — the factory itself when the audience needs to see the real product, a private space for partners.
- Script and assignments detailed to the minute.
- Communications before, during and after: posts, press, KOLs/KOCs, recap visuals.
- Measurement and reporting after the event.
Frequently asked questions about event marketing
What is event marketing?
Promoting a brand or product through an event so customers can experience it and interact directly.
Which type of event should you choose?
It depends on the goal: an exhibition to meet customers in your industry, a launch to create attention, an appreciation dinner to strengthen partner relationships.
How far in advance should an event be prepared?
Usually 4–8 weeks for a mid-sized event; peak season needs more lead time to secure a venue.
How is event effectiveness measured?
By attendance and registrations, leads collected, media reach and guest feedback.
